How it works
Providing your documents.
We will send you a link to upload the required documents using the ID-Pal app — a simple, secure and convenient way to complete the validation needed to finalise your policy.
What we may ask for
Documents that may be requested.
Driving licence
- A clear photo of your current driving licence, front and back
- The same for any additional drivers on the policy
Proof of residency date
- Your Public Services Card, for EU and EEA citizens
- Your Irish Residence Permit, for non-EU and non-EEA citizens
- Your flight details, for Irish citizens returning from abroad
Driving experience
- Your no-claims discount certificate from your previous insurer, confirming the years held in your own name without a claim
- For named-driver or company-car experience, written proof from the previous insurer confirming the details
